Marketing Coordinator-Newport Restoration Foundation, RI


The Marketing Coordinator has primary responsibility for promoting the organization as a whole, as well as its historic and museum properties, collections, exhibitions, and events to build awareness locally and nationally of NRF, increase attendance, and grow revenue both through program and development activities. Works with department staff to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies for NRF.  Manages organizational website and social media.  Coordinates work with contract designers for marketing materials.  Cultivates and maintains community, media, and hospitality relationships.  Coordinates news releases and direct outreach to media outlets.  Qualifications:  B.A., in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.  Three years of professional marketing or transferrable experience required.  Must be capable of managing multiple concurrent projects.  Must use electronic and social media and have experience with managing organizational social media campaigns.  Knowledge of graphic design principles and software is highly desirable.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.  To apply please submit a cover letter, resume, three references and two writing samples; one short form (ad copy, flyer, web listing, or series of related tweets) and one long form (press release, newsletter, or blog post) to (  Position is open until filled.  EOE.
